Modern Sarasota | Cherokee Park
3,531 SQ FT | 4 Bedrooms | 4 Bathrooms
Best in Show | 41st Aurora Awards

This award-winning modern residence in Cherokee Park redefines Florida luxury with minimalist architecture and seamless indoor-outdoor living. Designed by Guy Peterson OFA and built by Murray Homes, the property includes both a main home and guest house connected by a shared landscape, intentionally crafted around a majestic Banyan tree that anchors the site.

Every line and material was considered—from polished concrete floors to level 5 drywall finishes—to deliver a clean, modern aesthetic where no detail is hidden. Walls of glass open to a private courtyard with pool, firepit, and tropical plantings, creating visual continuity and usable space between the buildings.

At night, the home transforms. Architectural lighting casts bold shadows across the white façade and tree canopy, creating a show-stopping entrance and a sense of retreat. With 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, and a layout designed for both privacy and connection, this is modern Sarasota living at its best.
